Robert Pisano Photographer

In 1984, every winning entry in the Seattle AIA awards was a project photographed by Robert Pisano. Thus began an auspicious career taking Robert across North America and China on fine location photography assignments. During this time, Robert Pisano Photography has developed active and prestigious relationships with publications including Architectural Record, Architectural Digest, Interiors, Hotel and Hospitality and Interior Design.

Serving his clients in both China and North America from his twin home bases in Liuzhou and Seattle, Robert's work continues to be the primary marketing vehicle for renowned architecture firms, hotels and resorts, interior designers, and advertising agencies worldwide. Robert's commissioned projects are designed to maximize the visual impact of his clients' various architectural, lifestyle and interior designs.  We look forward to any comments or inquiries into how custom photography can best represent your work.

In addition to producing images for his architectural, interior design, hospitality and corporate clients, Robert also provides guided tours for thoughtful travelers to select destinations in China. Join our adventures at www.GreatToursOfChina.com

TESTIMONIALS

I hired Robert for an extensive 30 day shoot covering hotel properties on the entire west coast. It was logistically tough and physically demanding. Robert’s professionalism shined when obstacles were placed between him and the task at hand. He proved himself to be a great creative mind as well as a sharp wit. The end result was a fantastic corporate portfolio of images. The shot list included; exteriors, room interiors, banquet halls and a couple of unexpected requests. Every shot was beautiful. I highly recommend Robert for any assignment.
— Joel Nendel, Art Director & Illustrator
Robert’s work is second to none. His photography captures beauty that cannot be seen with the human eye. His keen sense of how to use light makes his interior and exterior shots a real work of art. Robert’s patience, attention to detail and enthusiasm for perfection work wonders for his clients — and on top of all this, he is most congenial and fun!
— Connie Petersen, Owner, C. Petersen & Associates
Robert Pisano’s approach to architectural photography is to keep in mind why he is there: to convey the details and essentials of architecture. He takes time to understand the goals of each project and delivers high quality images that convey the beauty and function of the design. The light in architectural spaces is a very important part of the whole design and he works hard to keep that light design integrity. Through his eye-catching images and his reputation amongst editors, my firm’s projects have appeared in Architectural Record and many other publications. I highly recommend him!
— Carla Thompson, Fellow, Society for Marketing Professional Services
A true Renaissance man, Robert is a superb craftsman and rare artist who understands light and design like no other photographer I’ve ever worked with. He’s even invented his own lighting system to take his interior photos to another level. His keen eye, strong esthetic sense, and imaginative responses to the unexpected have earned him the highest respect among his clients and colleagues alike. I’ve seen him work before; Robert doesn’t wait for a “golden moment” that may or may not happen - - instead, he creates the moment. I take immense pride in my own work and want it interpreted and rendered with talent, sensitivity and respect - - that is why I would only trust Robert with that responsibility. Simply stated, Robert Pisano Photography is the very best.
