Robert Pisano is commissioned regularly by North America's leading architectural, design and advertising firms to photograph projects throughout the United States, Canada and elsewhere. He offers creative expertise in photographing interiors and exteriors of commercial and residential spaces and the product components thereof. A regular contributor to Architectural Digest and Architectural Record, his award-winning images also appear in professional design publications, corporate brochures, annual reports and various promotional media worldwide. Robert meets the pressing demands of each client by being flexible and highly service motivated. His innate resourcefulness with the unexpected often converts "problems" into creative possibilities.

To ensure the technical quality and stylistic consistency of each final product, Robert creates all images himself utilizing a mixture of traditional and contemporary techniques in combination with a self-made lighting system. The vast majority of the results seen in his images are produced in-camera and on site. The use of photoshop or other digital enhancements is minimal and largely confined to addressing conditions beyond the photographer's control -- a leafless branch against the sky or a misplaced light switch, for example. Each assignment is approached as a customized production and reflects Robert's belief that a successful commercial photograph is truly the result of a collaborative process between client and photographer.
